Carly & Jackson's Rustic, Minimalist Wedding at Ravenswood Homestead

Alright, let’s kick this off with how Carly and Jackson met, because it’s one of those stories that could only happen in this social media age. Carly’s over here posting gym pics, and Jackson notices. Pretty soon, he's popping up at the 5:15 am BFT classes—after asking which ones she goes to. Classic move, right? But it wasn’t until a winery bus tour around Bendigo that they really hit it off. After an amazing night full of wine, pasta, and good vibes (they are both food and wine lovers, so it was a match made in heaven), they knew it was the beginning of something special.

Fast forward to their big day at Ravenswood Homestead, where rustic charm meets modern, minimalistic vibes. Think white and green florals, sleek black and white signage, and a day that was both elegant and effortlessly cool.

Ceremony by the Fountain

The ceremony took place in front of a gorgeous fountain at Ravenswood Homestead, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable moment. Carly and Jackson were surrounded by their closest family and friends, all gathered to witness their vows. It was the perfect setting for these two to say “I do” in a way that was both timeless and personal.

Bridal Party in Black, Vibes in Check

Their bridal party totally nailed the vibe in black—stylish and chic, with just the right amount of drama to match the couple’s effortless cool. But what really made their portraits stand out were the relaxed, authentic moments we captured. And honestly, we owe a lot of that to their engagement shoot before the wedding. Getting those pre-wedding shots meant they were already super comfortable in front of the camera, making their couple portraits feel like they were just hanging out (with me clicking away in the background, of course).

The Dancefloor Was Lit

By the time the reception rolled around, the energy was high and the dancefloor was alive. Carly and Jackson’s guests were ready to party, and nothing proves that more than the glow of lightsticks illuminating the night as everyone danced and celebrated. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dancefloor quite like this one—pure magic.

Carly and Jackson, you guys created such an incredible day, full of love, laughter, and good food (oh, and don’t forget the wine!). Thank you for letting me be a part of it. I’ll always remember the relaxed vibes, amazing energy, and all those lightsticks lighting up the dancefloor!

For those of you planning your own wedding, if you want to capture those natural, authentic moments and make sure your day feels just as relaxed as it is beautiful, let’s chat!
