Tamrie + Nick, Family Farm Wedding

Some weddings are just special. Nick and Tamrie’s big day wasn’t just a celebration of their love—it was a reflection of everything that makes them, them. From the story of how they met at Nutrien Ag Solutions to the gorgeous views of Tamrie’s family farm, every detail felt personal, heartfelt, and uniquely theirs.

If you’ve ever worked in a small-town office, you know how quickly you get to know everyone—and apparently, how hard it is to keep a relationship under wraps! Nick and Tamrie first crossed paths at Nutrien Ag Solutions Bendigo back in 2015. It was his first day, and (of course) her last before heading off to the Echuca branch for a year.

By 2016, the timing lined up. They worked together briefly, became friends, and in classic "Farley timing," took their sweet time making things official in April 2017. Keeping their relationship low-key for 7-8 months was a feat, but once the secret was out, Nick stepped up and finally took Tamrie on their first date—to Clogs (where I think lots of Bendigo locals have had their first dates!). Nick, you really know how to impress a lady!

Fast forward to 2024, and these two tied the knot in the most meaningful place imaginable—Tamrie’s family farm. The property is every bit as stunning as you’d expect, with rolling countryside views that made the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony.

The couple kept things true to their roots with a rustic, country-style vibe. Think wine-barrel bar tables, an open-air setting, and just the right balance of casual and elegant. Supporting local businesses was also a top priority, so many of the vendors were small, lesser-known gems from around the area. (Love that!)

Nick and Tamrie were surrounded by their nearest and dearest, including their trusty Kelpie, Grace, who kept a watchful eye on everything, and their bridal party—Steph and Mitch—who brought all the laughs and support to the day.

After the ceremony, everyone kicked back for a relaxed but lively reception. Guests mingled around the wine-barrel tables, drinks in hand, soaking up the good vibes. It felt like one big family gathering—warm, welcoming, and so authentically Nick and Tamrie.

Weddings like Nick and Tamrie’s remind you that it’s the personal touches and heartfelt moments that make a day unforgettable. From their love story (written with a bit of Tamrie’s cheeky humor!) to the breathtaking views of their family farm, this wedding was everything a celebration should be: meaningful, joyful, and 100% true to the couple.

Nick and Tamrie, thank you for letting me capture your day. It was a privilege to witness your love story unfold in the place where it all feels like home. Here’s to many more adventures, countless animals, and plenty of holidays together! 🥂
