Hayley + Ryan, Redbank

Hayley and Ryans wedding day started with us at Redbank; with the groom and his groomsmen getting ready. We ran through the usual shots before heading into town to see how the bride and her girls were getting along.

With hair and makeup almost complete, it was so much fun pulling together a flatly of her special items. Always a hive of activity, the bridal getting ready space exudes a much different air than that of what we experience with the boys! It's a lot more anticipation as we run through the shots we want to capture, the moments we create and the chance to get ready without fuss and stress.

With a little travel between the bride and the venue, I headed off back to the farm to get setup to capture Hayleys arrival as I knew there were a tonne of little people that were going to walk down the aisle ahead of her! The bus pulled up from town with a tonne of friends and family, and it wasn't long before Hayley and her dad were walking down the aisle.

Redbank is located in Barnawatha north, and I want you to picture the giant red gums, sprawling paddocks with a few Angus cows doted along the roadside to get a idea. It's the perfect space for a country wedding, and exactly what Hayley and Ryan visualised when planning their wedding.

Following the ceremony, a big group picture, family portraits and then the bridal party headed off for a hour to capture portraits. Looking back across the paddock you could see family and friends playing lawn games, enjoying the food, listening to the live music and taking photos with each other, and it wasn't long before the couple headed back to enjoy it all!

Their night kicked on and the whole event had a magical vibrancy to the air that was wholesome and playful. One of my favourite venues of 2023!
