Emma + Jackson, Bonfire Station Farmstay & Microbrewery
Some weddings just feel right. No stress, no fuss—just two people celebrating their love with the people who matter most. That was exactly the vibe at Emma & Jackson’s wedding at Bonfire Station Farmstay & Microbrewery in Taggerty, VIC.
Emma and Jackson’s love story kicked off in the most modern way possible—Tinder. But before their first date could even happen, Emma had one rule: Jack had to meet her parents first (because let’s be real, online dating can be a gamble). He passed the test, survived her fish-and-chip order (which, ironically, involved no fish), and from that moment on, they were onto a winner.
Fast forward a few years and countless adventures later, they found themselves hiking Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. Midway through, by a quiet lake and an old boat shed, Jackson popped the question. No crowd, no fuss—just them, the mountain air, and the perfect backdrop for their next big adventure.
With their love for travel and new experiences, it only made sense that their wedding would feel like one big, joy-filled adventure. Set at Bonfire Station, the day was relaxed, fun, and totally them.
The ceremony? Absolute magic. Picture this: a beautiful lakeside setting, the soft sounds of nature, and the most heartfelt vows. Emma and Jackson were completely in the moment—laughing, tearing up, and just soaking in the fact that this was their day.
Having done an engagement session with me beforehand, these two were absolute pros in front of the camera. And let me tell you—booking an engagement session makes a world of difference. It gave them the chance to understand what they wanted, feel comfortable in front of the lens, and just enjoy the experience of having their photos taken. By the time the wedding rolled around, their photos were so natural and authentic—just pure, effortless moments that truly reflected them.
When sunset rolled in, they embraced the golden light, making for some seriously breathtaking portraits. You could see it—that just-married glow.
And then, the party. Their reception was electric—good drinks, killer tunes, and a dance floor that did not quit. The energy was through the roof, with guests bringing their best (and occasionally questionable) moves. Emma and Jackson were right in the middle of it all, completely in their element.
There’s something about weddings like this—where the focus isn’t on perfection, but on presence. Emma and Jackson made sure to soak in every second with the people they love, knowing this was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of moment.
To Emma & Jackson—here’s to a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and maybe even some more fish-free fish and chips. Cheers! 🥂
