Bec + Jack,Ravenswood Homestead
I recently had the absolute joy of photographing Bec and Jack's wedding at the stunning Ravenswood Homestead in Bendigo. These two have been together for nearly 12 years, and their day was filled with a lot of laughter, country vibes, and a relaxed energy that perfectly matched their personalities.
Bec and Jackson couldn’t be more different – in the best way possible. Bec is all extroverted energy, while Jack is a bit more introverted, but they balance each other out beautifully.
Their wedding was all about celebrating with family and friends. It had that easygoing, country vibe where everyone could just be themselves. You could tell how much thought went into the planning, especially thanks to Bec’s super-organized nature. Everything flowed so smoothly from start to finish, and the day was a perfect reflection of them as a couple – low-key but filled with meaning.
The ceremony, led by Georgia, was short and sweet – just the way they wanted it. No fuss, just the important stuff, which fit them perfectly. And the tunes, oh the tunes! Josh kept the vibes going from the ceremony through to the reception, making sure there was never a dull moment.
One thing I loved about photographing this wedding was how real and authentic it felt. Jack is the kind of guy who is unapologetically himself – there’s no pretending, no secrets, just Jack. It’s rare to meet someone who’s so comfortable in their own skin, and it made capturing their day all the more special. Bec’s bubbly nature kept things light and fun, but there was also this deep sense of togetherness with their family and friends.
Ravenswood Homestead was the perfect backdrop for their country-style wedding. It’s one of those venues that feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but in the best possible way. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, it was the ideal spot for Bec and Jackson to say their vows and celebrate with their nearest and dearest.
All in all, it was the kind of wedding that reminded me why I love what I do. Easygoing, full of heart, and absolutely reflective of who Bec and Jack are as a couple. Here’s to 12 more years of adventures for these two.
